I was engaged by GMS Canada to refresh the logo for Rigney Building Supplies, with the goal of creating a cohesive lockup alongside the existing DL Building Materials logo. The challenge was to ensure both logos worked seamlessly together as a unified visual system, while maintaining the integrity and recognition of the original Rigney Building Supplies identity. The updated design carefully balances refinement with familiarity, honouring the established look while enhancing clarity, consistency, and versatility. The final solution allows both logos to function effectively together as a lockup, as well as independently across a range of applications.
